Millennials have essentially been forced into a perpetual teenagerhood by socioeconomic circumstance, we desperately want to grow up, and we’re worried that we’re running out of time to do so

Can I just say, I shifted my life goals because of this (really well articulated) worry. I don’t plan to be a parent anymore. I plan to be an eccentric aunt who leaves the opportunity for a good and stable life to at least one of my niblings. So that they can be a fulfilled adult in a way that I worry I never will be.
